Is everyone in our Philly group here planning on the full marathon in the fall? Or are there some doing the half marathon. I know I definitely want to do the half at least. I’m just scared and nervous of signing up for the full Philly marathon in November. I don’t want to bite off more than I can chew. I’m a slower runner, but I have improved from 15 minute miles to 11/12 minute miles now and I feel like I would love to continue my work in getting faster and stronger and aim for a goal time in the half versus maybe extending myself too much for a full. Any thoughts!? I don’t teach in the summer and would have the chance to come down to the city for some runs but don’t want to be the lone wolf being the only half marathoner training.
Just curious what everyone’s plans are and curious if anyone had advice 🤷🏼‍♀️
