Philly dog safety

Hey everyone, this isn’t running related but I know most of us are dog lovers and a lot of us live in the center city/ northern liberties area. My dog Finn was attacked while walking in old city by a small tortoiseshell pitbull. If you see a dog like that, just go to the other side of the street. We stayed on the opposite side of the sidewalk but her dog got lose and attacked Finn. He’s very sad he is getting stitched up tonight at the vet instead of running with everyone but he’ll be back as soon as he’s healed. Everyone be safe!
