Rock Creek

Hi everyone, I’m in DC for a few days in a couple of weeks, staying in Georgetown and I was wondering if you can run alongside Rock Creek? Is it flat and accessible? I was hoping to run up to the cathedral and back. Otherwise, hit me with any other decent routes that are around 6 miles.
