This is a copy and pasted note that I include every time I send out photo links. Your photos are likely cropped to 4:5 which is ideal for instagram posts. If you want it to be for an IG story, you’ll want 9:16. The best way to do this so you don’t make the photo lose its quality is: download the photo, open it in your camera or gallery, select edit, choose the crop option, select the aspect ratio (rectangles button), choose 9:16 and adjust as you like (might require zooming out or in to get it all). Now it’s story ready :) if you edit directly on IG it will make the photo blurry 😢
