Hi everyone! I have been waiting for an Endorphins - Chicago to start up and so excited to be here! I wasn’t able to make it to the introductory run yesterday but would love to meet everybody super soon! ☺️
My name is Nadia and originally from Malaysia but I have been living in Chicago since 2017. I went to the University of Chicago in Hyde Park 2017-2021 and graduated during the pandemic (rip). I live in the Gold Coast/Streeterville area with my boyfriend Ethan (who is also super excited abt Endorphins - Chicago), so super easy to get to the LFT.
I was a swimmer my whole life - I was a Malaysian National swimmer, representing the country at international games, and was on the Swim & Dive team at UChicago. Got into running after I graduated/retired but it was a rough transition because I didn’t know how to do anything on dry land. Did my first half marathon ever in April at the Illinois Half Marathon down in Champaign and absolutely loved it!! Currently training for a relay triathlon at the Chicago Tri and an individual triathlon later this year!
Fun fact: Ethan’s running a marathon this Saturday so I’ll be supporting him!!
