Community Vote 16 Results + City Votes coming soooon

Hey everyone!

Last week we had a pretty big community vote that will likely change how Endorphins is structured moving forward. For context, we have weekly community votes to ensure we are growing Endorphins with everyone's best interest in mind. When we started Endorphins... we were only in NYC... now we are in 5 cities!

With this in mind, our community votes have changed from NYC specific questions to more broad based community questions. This is great however it restricts our ability to take in feedback on the city level. In order to make sure Endorphins is awesome for everyone in every city... it is important we have the ability to listen to our community members so we can grow together in the appropriate way!

The results from the vote align with this sentiment. Moving forward we will be taking a more proactive approach to include city members in city decisions.

How will this work:

  1.  We will continue to have weekly global community votes
  2. Each city lead will be creating a space called Announcements where they can broadcast important city specific messages to the local community
  3. In the Announcements space, city leads will be able to post one-off city votes on an as see fit basis. This will be up to the city lead's discretion and will allow for more granular city specific feedback.
  4. The City Home pages will remain intact. These local home spaces will be a place for every member to connect, share local events, races, one-off group runs, and general running-related discussions specific to the local city.

You can expect to see these structural changes in the next few days :) If you'd like to see the results from Community Vote 16. You can reference them here.

I am energized by these structural changes. Knowing we will be able to listen to everyone as we grow will ensure we can grow our Endorphins community together! And that is what it is alllll aboutttt!

Only the best,

Tyler ⚡💙
