Patellar Tendinitis

first time dealing with patellar tendinitis. It’s interfering my training for NYC marathon training. The pain is the worst going down stairs. When I’m running it’s not as bad, maybe a 3/10. I took 2 weeks off from running, but started doing ~4 miles and feel it again. Feels uncomfortable and weak. I want to know if I should push through it, or take more time off to rehab it. Not trying to make it worse but also don’t want to fall too far behind on training.
