Resume training post illness

I had food poisoning last night / today and am finally feeling better + rehydrating. That said I’ll probably skip out on about 20 of my 32ish miles this week.

Can I jump right back into the plan in my training schedule next week (~35 miles) once I am feeling better? Last week I did my full 30, so it wouldn’t be a massive jump in mileage. With injuries in the past I have always taken it slow but physically I will feel fine. I just don’t want to risk another derailment!
