Calf pain

Hi - I experienced calf cramps during my long run (14 miles, only 1 mile longer than previous Sat. long run) last Saturday but pain was manageable enough to finish the run. I did an ice bath after and rolled out legs. I took Tu/We of this week off hoping this would give my legs time to roll out and feel better but pain has been persistent that I am now unable to run. I’ve been really good about hydrating and taking electrolytes. I’ve added potassium’ and Magnesium to my daily vitamins but wondering if you have any other advice. I have an appointment for dry needling with my dr. to hopefully loosen the muscles.
I plan to take this whole week “off” due to pain but hoping I can run 5 miles Saturday to get back into it.
