Post-injury

Cross posting this here, not sure which space this is best for.

I’ve taken approximately 4 weeks off due to an si joint problem. Going to PT and right now I’m running 1 mile at s time a few times a week. My last workout was week 5’s long run of ten miles.

I’m not totally sure where to jump back in as my fitness level will definitely be lower than what it was four weeks ago and I’m still experiencing some discomfort. Any advice on how to get back into it even if it’s slower? Starting with the east runs maybe? For reference I’m running NYC marathon.
