Weird tingle in calf

Hello, I’m wondering if anyone has (ever) dealt with a calf injury.

Backstory/ This June, I dealt with a calf strain/cramp that made me stop running for almost 5 weeks. I started running two weeks and completed my first triathlon this past Saturday with no issues.


Today I went for a easy 3 miler - hydrated and stretched - but towards the end, I get these awkward tingling feelings in my left calf that feel like something is wrong. It’s very hard to describe but I can still run but just fear I take another step then my calf gets thrown into shreds.

Idk if it’s a mental thing coming off an injury or I’m just too cautious on how I’m feeling. Do I need more stretching or recovery in my training? What should I do in reference to this?
