new shoes before race day?
Is it crazy of me to run a 10 mile race in a new pair of shoes? I’ve run 13 ish miles in them (2 short runs, 1 8.5 mi run) and they feel better on my feet than the shoe I was training in. I have been having some shin pain and the new shoe is bouncier and I’m not feeling the pain as much in them. Wondering if I should risk it and run in the new comfy shoe or stick with the shoe that I’ve been training in for the past few months?
