hello hello atx endoprhins, my name is ngozi (gah-zee)!
I live in east austin and I have lived in austin for 2 years! I am a former collegiate sprinter turned distance runner! I started running distance in 2020 during COVID and was able to really redefine running for myself outside of high-intensity athletics and fell in love with running in a different way! 🏃🏾♀️
Since 2020, I’ve run 3 half marathons (Austin half marathon twice) and am currently training to run my first marathon, the New York City Marathon - if anyone is training for NY or down for a long run, let me know! My favorite running route is the town lake loop 🔁!
A funny (not so funny at the time) running memory is my finish this year at the Austin Marathon! my calves were crapping due to the mile 10 hill and I was not well 😂 I’m 0 for 2 for good race photos but as you can see, there are two types of people when you finish a half marathon (me vs. the guy next to me) 🤣 but endorphins do make you happy!
