Race day shoe recs

I’m running my first full marathon in November (Philly). I’ve been going back and forth about buying carbon plated shoes for it. If I get a pair, would I be able to wear them for another marathon in the future? Right now i’m looking at Asics Metaspeed Sky+, but also open to any others recs/advice! They are pricey so want to make sure they get good usage.
