HQFK Race Philly Travel Plans & New Runs Posted!

Hey everybody!!

Tomorrow we are hosting our first ever race in NYC. We have some people from Philly traveling up for the race which is wild - you guys are awesome lol. I’ve had several more people express interest in going & it is not too late to sign up so here are some details & logistics to help you make a decision.

For the people who are going from Philly, we are taking a train leaving 30th street station at 6:30pm tomorrow evening that will arrive in NYC by 8pm. I just looked and this train is currently $51. The race starts at 9:30pm and bib pick up is at 9pm. After the race, we are taking a 12:20am train back to Philly and getting home around 2am. This ticket is currently $86 (kind of steep). Another option is a 4:20am train for $20 if you really want to pull an all nighter lol.

This race is not for the faint of heart. It will be less than 5 miles but you will not find out the exact route or checkpoint until you get to the start line. There are already 100+ runners signed up. If you’d like to join the chaos - you can register HERE.

ALSO, we will be having another long run this weekend. We are moving the start time from 7am to 8am so you guys can sleep in a little more and we won’t be battling the heat as much. You can RSVP for the run HERE.
