Injured/Running NYC in 3 weeks.
Hi! I started feeling some sharp hip pain about a week and a half ago. It’s a very tight and sore tensor fascia latae that I’ve been rehabing it but been unable to run. I’ve been doing low impact cycling in the interim. The last long run I was able to do was 20 miles about 5 weeks out from race day. Should I drop out of the marathon? Should I continue to rest and rehab it (without doing any runs for the next two ish weeks) and hope for the best on race day? The timing of this stinks and is really tricky and I’m unsure about what to do.
