Inner Ankle Tightness
Hi!
I’ve been training for the NYC Marathon and last week after my long run I felt a bit of tightness in my inner left ankle. I have full range of motion and no sharp pain when running or walking. It almost feels like there is pressure or air that needs to be released?(not sure if that makes sense) Would love to hear if anyone has an idea of what could be causing this and if I should just rest and reduce mileage until the marathon or if I can proceed with my current taper plan leading up to the marathon.
I’ve been trying to do some ankle strengthening exercises such as single leg heel raises and ankle mobility to strengthen the ankle. But if there’s anything else I should do leading up to the race would love to hear it!
