Inside Knee Pain/Philly Marathon
Hi All! I’ve been training for the Philly Marathon and finally in taper weeks 🎉 however, last week during my longest run (20 miles) something definitely happened to my knee. I have pretty bad IT Band Syndrome, have had it for years and typically just run through it. I now, however, have terrible pain on the inside of my left knee.
I’m not sure if they’re related, but I am in a lot of pain. It hurts to walk and it hurts when I run but I did run through it twice this week (but I do think it made it worse). It also hurts in my sleep.
I’m not sure if there are stretches I should be doing or if I need to take a break from running, but am getting nervous because we’re a few weeks out from Philly. Any guidance would be VERY MUCH appreciated!! ❤️
