Heart Rate Running?

Hey y’all. So I have been running on and off for a few years now, but am just hearing about heart rate running. I have done some research but overall still feel lost as to how exactly one should go about it (especially being at what I would consider a novice level runner). I think I would benefit from being more intentional and in tune with my body and what it needs. But am looking if anyone has some advice/knowledge to share!!
