Galloway Method

Anyone ever try the run/walk aka Galloway Method before for longer distances? Want to try it for my first 1/2 in training for but wasn’t sure if anyone has used it and likes it! I’m a 12-13min/mile pace currently and “prided” myself on not walking in my 5K or 8K but my husband did this method for the 8K (he literally just wung it, no method to his madness😂) and ended up running a lot faster then usual! Would love to hear any success with this!
