Could Use Some Encouragement!
I just got back from what should’ve been a nice easy run and I felt like absolutely 💩 the entire time. I did 2 miles and stayed at a 12:47/mile pace which is what I ran for the Marathon weekend 8K but it felt SO hard for just those 2 simple miles. I didn’t get the best nights sleep and I’m trying to work on drinking more water and fueling my body overall better (working with a nutritionist due to some other health reasons as well!) but I know this shouldn’t have felt so terrible. I’m training for the Love Run ½ marathon for the end March and felt SO strong and capable running the 8K and the Rocky 5K the week before that (all within the 12:10-12:50/mile range) but this has me feeling nervous and like a half marathon is not gonna happen. It was like 35’ outside and I bundled up so feeling like the cold may have a littleeeee to do with it as well but would love to hear some tips/tricks for when you’re feeling like you’re in a rut while training!
