Cherry Blossom 10 Mile Registration!
Hey hey endorphins DC! Thanks to everyone who came out for the icecream run!
As many people know, the Cherry Blossom 10 mile + 5k registration opens tomorrow! We wanted to provide a few logistics for those who are interested in running the race.
1. The 5k is FIRST COME FIRST SERVE! So you can sign up Dec 20th.
2. The cherry blossom and double blossom (both races) is a LOTTERY that opens tomorrow. You can enter as an individual or as a team. We highly recommend getting a few people together to form a team, and those who are interested can discuss in the comments here! Entering as a team just means if your group is selected, you all get to run. Groups are capped at 10 people so sadly we cannot get everyone in it together. No special privileges for run clubs :(
3. Volunteer! If you volunteer in 2023 ( you can also still enter the lottery) you can get guaranteed entry for 2024. Here’s the link to sign up for volunteering https://www.cherryblossom.org/volunteer/sign-up/
There are a few other ways such as if you time qualify (speedy!), or if you have not gotten in the past 2 years (😭😭) so check all that out on the website.
