Hi everyone! My name is Derek, and I grew up in Jersey but have lived in Hoboken for two years now. I always played soccer growing up and in college, but really got into running when COVID first hit and the gyms closed. I’d say my favorite place to run is the waterfront towards Jersey City.

I just ran my first marathon in Philly and LOVED the energy at the shakeout run & the cheer section in Manayunk. I’ve already met some awesome people because of this group, and I look forward to joining more runs soon! I’ll also be running the Disney Marathon on Jan 7th if anyone else will be down there.
